In August this year I took part in a group exhibition Rhythm & Flow in a small gallery in the Paraparaumu library.
It was time to go back to my happy place is a series of photos based on my personal engagement with my nearby environments, focused on the the Ōtaki River that is in walking distance from where I live.
Although I predominantly work with textiles and fibres in my arts practice, in this series I am using photography as the preferred medium to capture the essence of how I experience the natural world.
